Biographie :
Khenpo Sodargye Rinpoche, l’un des plus éminents maître tibétains de notre époque est né en 1962. Il a été ordonné moine en 1985 et a été formé par Khenchen Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche. Ce dernier l’ayant nommé comme un de ses trois successeurs principaux il partage aujourd’hui la direction de l’institut Serta Larung Gar, au Tibet oriental, qui est aujourd’hui le plus grand institut d’études bouddhistes au monde, rassemblant plus de 10’000 moines, nonnes et laïques.
En tant que Lama tibétain, traducteur prolifique tibétain-chinois et érudit et penseur bouddhiste contemporain, Khenpo est reconnu à travers l’Asie et l’Occident pour son intérêt d’intégrer les principes traditionnels du bouddhisme avec les enjeux mondiaux et ceux de la vie moderne. Il enseigne également régulièrement dans les universités les plus prestigieuses du monde, y compris l’Université de Pékin, Harvard, Columbia, et Yale.

The coming of Khenpo Sodargye Rinpoche in Lausanne, Switzerland
Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th December 2017

Khenpo Sodargye will speak in Tibetan. His teachings and empowerments will be translated directly in French and English (headphones).

Biography:
Born in 1962, Khenpo Sodargye Rinpoche, was ordained as a monk in 1985 and trained very closely with Khenchen Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, who named him as one of his three main successors. At present he is one of head teachers of Serta Larung Gar Institute, in eastern Tibet, which is the biggest institute of Buddhist studies in the world, gathering more than 10’000 monks, nuns and lay people.   As a Tibetan Lama, Tibetan Chinese translator, scholar and contemporary Buddhist philosopher, Khenpo Sodargye is known throughout Asia and the West for his interest in integrating traditional Buddhist principles with global issues of modern life. Moreover he regularly teaches at the most prestigious universities in the world, including the University of Peking, Harvard, Columbia and Yale.
